Volunteers for 2013…
Can you give 3 hours of you time to support the hosting of a great Sporting Occasion in Sligo?
Enthusiastic volunteers are needed to assist with the An Post Tour of Sligo Cycle on Sunday 5th May 2013. Volunteer roles include marshaling along the cycling route/ IT Sligo and administration duties at the IT, Sligo.

In 2012 the cyclists were particularly complementary of the welcoming and friendly marshals and the major role they played in the success of the event. This was summed up in the feedback from one participant who stated: “Brilliantly organised and supported by the volunteers at all posts, the Garda cover at junctions and the support of locals on the route make this a great event to be a 
part of. Thank you” while another comment highlighted the role of the volunteers “Very enjoyable experience and fantastic to see so many participants. Very well organised and credit to all the volunteers and voluntary organisations that assisted on the day”.
